For the longest time, we wanted to set up a base somewhere where we could direct our intermediate students and Mantra guests who wanted to experience a thriving surf culture, and quality waves year around and offer similar vibes as Mantra.
We have partnered with Surf & Yoga Sri Lanka which operates amazing surf camps on both the Southern and Eastern coasts of Sri Lanka.
The founder, Priyal Kiramage has been a long-time friend of Mantra and one of the key surfing figures in Sri Lanka’s surfing development over the years.
We are very excited to offer all included surf/yoga packages to our Mantra surf community at specially discounted rates and curated surf trips personally led by the Mantra team every year. Our partners are very experienced hosts and offer great Sri Lankan hospitality to one and all around the world.
Southern Sri Lanka offers a wide variety of surf breaks with a few renowned ones i.e Coconut Point – Weligama, Three Palms, The Point – Mirissa, Hikkaduwa, Hiriketiya Bay reef break, Midigama, Unawatuna offering beginner level to intermediate-advanced surfing experience.
Apart from Surf and Yoga, one can explore the scenic beaches of Southern Sri Lanka, take jungle safari rides, visit Galle, go whale watching, undergo Ayurveda & holistic treatment, or chill and work at the surf camp and meet people from around the world.
